We’re excited to announce we have just added 3 NEW savoury pastry products to our range.
Made by a multi award-winning, family-run butcher established since 1979, these traditional, artisan recipes have been produced with the finest local ingredients. The puff pastry is made from scratch, the fillings are made in small batches with the meat butchered in-house and then slow cooked for 10 hours to produce a very tender filling. Finally, the pastry is stamped out by hand and the products are hand finished before being frozen.
Chicken, White Wine and Asparagus Purse (Succulent chicken in a delicate shallot, white wine and asparagus sauce, encased in light puff pastry), Steak and Stilton Purse (Tender British beef cooked in a rich liquor and smothered in a full-flavoured British Stilton sauce wrapped in light puff pastry garnished with poppy seeds) and Spinach, Goats Cheese and Olive Purse (Crisp, buttery puff pastry, packed with creamy, tart goat’s cheese and fresh spinach in an olive sauce).
These tasty, wholesome pastry purses all bake from frozen at 200C for 35-40 minutes and make a fabulous, satisfying centre-piece to a main meal.
