Pioneers for our BYO Container Needed!

We are really passionate about doing our bit for the environment and reducing the use of single-use plastic in our business.  We’re delighted there is talk of plastic straws and cotton buds being banned nationally within the year – great news!

Minimising the use of packaging has been core to our business ethos for over 40 years as we sell our loose-serve products straight from the freezer in a scoop-and-serve format.

We launched our BYO container campaign in June of this year asking field fare stockists to allow customers to bring their own re-useable containers when purchasing our loose-serve frozen products.  A number of stockists embraced the BYO container campaign namely Kenyon Hall Farm, New Manor Farm Shop, Shearers Fine Foods, Roots Farm Shop & Thornhill Farm Shop, some have been a little sluggish on the uptake.

So, we need your help!!

We need our lovely customers to become pioneers, so next time you pop to your local farm shop take your re-usable containers and request to use it when buying field fare loose-serve frozen products.

We really hope we can count on you

If everyone makes a few small changes to help reduce single-use plastic, together it will make a massive difference to the global problem.

We’d love to hear how you get on at your local farm shop, so drop us a line at [email protected].  Thank you so much in advance!

Allergens

Fieldfare welcome all shoppers but due to our products being sold loose we don’t recommend them if you suffer with anaphylaxis from the following allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, milk, egg, shellfish (molluscs and crustaceans) and fish.

We also urge caution for other allergen sufferers as there is a risk of cross-contamination from celery, gluten, lupin, mustard, soya and sulphites which may be present in products in the same freezer.
