In the media – top trade press mentions

We’ve had a great start to the year with some fab mentions in the trade media this month.

Speciality Food, January 2022

MD Matt Whelan contributes to an article in the January edition of Speciality Food ‘Make your Space Pay’ (pg. 36). He’s joined by Mark Ellis (Appetite Me) and Sam Steggles (The Goat Shed). In it he talks to journalist Anna Blewett about how to maximise the potential of farm shop and garden centre floorspace by adding branded freezers (containing our delicious loose, frozen food) to complement farm shop ranges. After all, what could be a better combination than a quality steak from the butcher’s counter, accompanied by our popular individually portioned potato gratin and some fresh vegetable from the farm shop?

Fine Food Digest, January-Feb 2022

And to top off our media double whammy, we also see Matt gracing the cover of this month’s Fine Food Digest, giving an interview ‘The Changing Face of Frozen’ (p.15) to Tom Dale. He talks about how we (Fieldfare) are challenging the perception around the frozen aisle – by bringing a unique offering to the category – delicious, loose products. He touches on our rebrand and also our #chooseloose campaign. This was kicked off last year, aimed at encouraging consumers to choose our loose products, to reduce waste and minimise packaging.

Thanks to our wonderful customer Nick at The Udder Farm Shop for contributing and also allowing us to host the interview.

Allergens

Fieldfare welcome all shoppers but due to our products being sold loose we don’t recommend them if you suffer with anaphylaxis from the following allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, milk, egg, shellfish (molluscs and crustaceans) and fish.

We also urge caution for other allergen sufferers as there is a risk of cross-contamination from celery, gluten, lupin, mustard, soya and sulphites which may be present in products in the same freezer.
