Bramley Apple Slices
Peeled, sliced and freshly frozen ready for you to use. Perfect for desserts and baking.
Bramley apples are low in calories, high in water content and offer a fair amount of vitamins A, C and B.
These apples began as pips planted by Mary Brailsford in her garden in Notthinghamshire around 1809. She sold the house to Martin Bramley in 1846 and the rest is history.
Cook from frozen.
Place in a saucepan with a little water and heat gently until soft. Add sugar to taste. Also a touch of cinnamon is delicious!
Serve with custard, cream or ice cream or sprinkle sweet crumble mix on top and oven bake to create a classic apple crumble.
These can also be used in many other recipes using Bramley apples as an ingredient.
Each slice is dipped in preservatives – Ascorbic Acid , Citric Acid, Salt & Calcium Chloride to prevent browning.
